AppConnect App Wrapper v2.0
- The on-premise AppConnect app wrapping application is now generally available for evaluators, customers that have purchased AppConnect, and AppConnect partners. This OS X application allows IT administrators to wrap in-house iOS apps without sending the app to MobileIron. Since the wrapper previously existed, albeit as an internal-only tool, this release is considered v2.0.
- Note that we will still provide our existing app wrapping service for those that don't want to maintain their own wrapper installation.
Apps@Work Container v.1.1.2
- Support for app storefront web apps. The VSP v6.0 release supports links to web apps in the app storefront. The Apps@Work Container can now open these web apps in either Safari or Web@Work, depending on admin-defined configuration.
- AppConnect v1.7. Enhancements added to AppConnect v1.7, such as debug logging, are now available in Apps@Work Container.
Web@Work iOS v1.3
- Updated look and feel for iOS 7. This addresses Apple's new App Store requirement to use Xcode 5 and optimize the UI for iOS 7.
Improved website compatibility. We updated the HTTP User Agent specified by Web@Work to mimic that of the native iOS browser - Mobile Safari. So, websites optimized explicitly for Mobile Safari will now apply those same optimizations for Web@Work
